Toys!

We introduced Lucas to his puppy from Grandma Eileen and Grandpa Jim. It is a blanket puppy and Lucas loves to grab on to clothes and blankets. Andy named him Steve and as you can tell Lucas loves him and thinks he tastes good too.

Lucas has started holding smaller toys, too. We have been working with him for several weeks now on grasping his letters. We spend a few minutes everyday in our Bumbo seat playing with these letters. He started out just banging his fists on the tray until all the letters fell off. Then he started pushing the letters off. He finally started grabbing them if I held them up to his hand and today he picked one up off the tray by his self.

Family Photos

We went and had family photos taken this weekend and then everyone came to our house for lunch. We all wore white shirts and jeans. So we took a pic of Nathan and Lucas for a frame Lucas got Nathan for being his godfather. It turned out so cute I had to share.

I also added the new slide show for April. As you can see Lucas has a bunch of facial expressions that just make you wonder what's he thinking in that little head of his :)

Last Dance

We went to see Lindsey off on her last formal dance in high school. She went with her friend Matt to Mater Dei's Prom this weekend. Doesn't she look beautiful :)

I'm pretty sure some day Lucas will want his own name URL like his Daddy has so we bought www.LucasRudolph.com and had it start forwarding to this sight for now. Just in case he wants it. I would hate to have a cyber-squatter take it from him.

Smile!!

I finally got a good smile picture. When Lucas wakes up in the morning or from his naps, he smiles like crazy. This one is a little cheesy, I think he gets that from his dad :)

3 Months Old!

Lucas turned 3 months old this week. He is now talking and playing more than ever. He has many expressions and moods as you can see from the photos :) I still haven't been able to capture a good smile on camera, but today we had his 3 month pictures taken and I think the photographer got some :) Lucas seems to like being outside. We went out and watched Daddy plant his herbs and the neighbor kids came over to play with Lucas and he loved it.

Lucas slept right through the earthquake. Andy & I woke up, grabbed him and ran to the basement before we realized it wasn't a tornado but an earthquake. We then checked everything out and headed back to bed.

Bouncer

Lucas has recently been very into his bouncer seat. When he kicks his feet it activates the sounds and lights on the toy bar. This is my first attempt at posting video so I hope it works :)

Spastic Jabberbox

Lucas is turning into a spastic jabberbox. In the morning he eats and then kicks his arms and legs and jabbers continuously while Andy & I get ready. This is also the time that he smiles like crazy. His favorite sayings are: "I good", "Hi" and "how". He will do this exercise again later in the morning and in the evening. Here are some attempts at catching is smile on camera but as you can tell it's hard to get a clear pictures with his arms and legs moving so fast :)
