Outer Space Room

I finally finished the boys' redecorated room today.  Several weeks back we decided to put the boys in the same room.  They were begging to sleep with each other and I finally gave in.  We tried bunk beds for a while, but once Lucas refused to climb down and wanted me to left him every morning I decided we would take them down.  So they are sleeping in their beds next to each other.  It's working great so far!  The room is decorated with an outer space theme with a solar system hanging from the ceiling.  Above are some pictures of the finished product.

First Day of School

This week was the boys start to preschool.  Lucas is in Pre-Kindergarden and Adam is in Preschool.  The boys did great their first week.  They were calm at drop off in the mornings and excited to see us at pick up time in the afternoon.  They are both going to Resurrection, three days a week, all day.  So it's a lot of structure and activity compared to what they are used to.  They both have enjoyed their first week and we hope the happiness continues.

Back to School Pool Party Fun

We hosted a Back to School Pool Party for our friends and their children at Grammy and Papaw's!  The kids had a blast swimming, playing on the playground, digging in the dirt, throwing pop its, and roasting marshmallows.  We had 9 kids there between the ages of 5 and 1 year.  There was never a dull moment and a great time was had by all!  

Fun at Rend Lake

 We went to Rend Lake for a weekend of boating with Grandma, Paps, and Aunt Carrie.  We had a blast!!
