Jamaica

Well, I'm a little delayed with this post, but it's been a hetic week. Andy & I had a great time in Jamaica. The resort was very nice. It had a great pool and beach. We enjoyed 2.5 days of sitting on the beach or at the pool reading and sipping our favorite tropical drinks. I got a massage as a special treat, which was very relaxing. Andy used the spa's jacuzzi and steam rooms for his relaxing alone time. We had some good food and enjoyed the time away. We also got 3 nights of uninterupted sleep which was invaluable! We were ready to come home and see our boys, and now we are ready to plan our family vacation for the summer :)

Adam's Walking!

Andy & I were just discussing yesterday how disappointed we would be if Adam walked for the first time while we were on vacation. Well, he must have heard us, because he took his first unassisted steps this evening when we got home. It took a little coaxing with his favorite toy, the remote, to get him to repeat the brave steps, but we were able to catch it on video. Adam will be 11 months old on Friday! What a big boy!!

Valentine's Day

We all exchanged Valentines this morning right before breakfast. The boys liked their books, Andy liked his trailmix (we are going on vacation so I thought we weren't supposed to be buying anything), and I was surprised with a new video camera. It's a HD Flip. On the camera I found the pre-recorded message below. How sweet!

Imagination and Mischief

In recent weeks Lucas's imagination has really developed. He loves to play "dress up" and pretend to be "Train Master Lucas", "Fire Chief Lucas", "Chef Lucas", "Lucasaurusrex", "Cowboy Lucas", "Superhero Lucas", and "Mr. Fix It Lucas". Sometimes his characters overlap which is just too cute. Here are some pictures of Lucas pretending.

Adam is also becoming more and more mischievous. I have caught him climbing the stairs several times and he continues push Mommy and Daddy's patience pushing buttons on the computer, Wi, and TV when he shouldn't. We also got our tent back out and Adam has been loving playing with it.
