Both of the boys had doctor appointments this week.
Lucas saw an allergy/asthma specialist. He weighed in at 50 pounds and 49 inches. He had his first allergy test and did a great job. He stayed calm and everything came back negative. The doctor was able to confirm that he believes Lucas has asthma and prescribed a different inhaler. We have already seen an improvement in Lucas's cough. Lucas struggles with anxiety at new doctor's and with anything that he perceives to be painful. As a reward for staying so calm during the visit, he got to go to the library to check out some books and then got to pick where he wanted to eat out for dinner. He picked three books after he finished his homework, Captain Awesome, Big Nate, and Encyclopedia Brown. He shared a big plate of sushi with his Dad at Zuki's and shared Mom's miso soup. We had a great afternoon with our little guy!

Adam had his annual well child visit this week too. He did great just like he always does. He talked the doctors ear off and his generally adorable in this situations. He weighed in at 42 pounds and 46 inches tall. Since we had made such a big deal about Lucas's behavior at his doctor appointment earlier in the week, Adam felt like he deserved a reward too. So he got to go shopping at Target with Mommy and then got to pick the restaurant of his choice. He selected McDonald's because they have toys and as a special treat I let him play on the playground for about 45 minutes. He had a ball! We are very blessed to have two healthy boys!
