Fun Weekend to start off 2010

This weekend we butchered with the Fishers. Tony smoked the ribs as we worked up the hogs. So Saturday night we all gathered at Sean & Amy's for supper. Lucas ate a few bites of his rib like a big boy, and Adam enjoyed his first taste of Texas Potatoes and chewed on his carrot (great for sore gums). The boys were very excited to get to play with Audrey and she was incredible adorable as usual. Andy laid down on the wood floor to rest his back and Audrey decided her's needing resting too. We've had pork 3 meals in a row now and it's delicious.

We've made a little progress with Adam's sleep over the holidays. He is no longer eating a bottle overnight. We are still getting up several times a night, but I think his cold, teething, and Mommy's cold are the reasons we weren't able to start sleeping all the way through. We'll continue to work on this. He has also started eating more finger foods and less puree's. This is very excited, because it means less feeding for me while I try to eat. We eliminated Lucas' morning nap over the holidays which is making us all less stressed. He seems to be doing very well with just one. I think we are all ready to get back into a routine and a "normal" schedule. We had a great holiday season and expect the New Year to bring more good times with friends and family and more memories to cherish.
