Lucas has struggled this week at drop off time, until today. We made a deal on Wednesday if he could be brave and go to his room with no tears, then he could pick a restaurant and we would get out for dinner on Friday. On Thursday, he choked back tears but was trying really hard not to cry, and today he didn't have any troubles walking on up to his room! We are going out for dinner tonight!!!
Each day when we pick him up, he tells us that his day was great and lists some of the fun things he got to do. If you ask him what his favorite part of school is, he replies, "Lunch!" Every day he has eaten the school lunch and he tells each item on his tray and how delicious it was! His papers are coming home with great comments, so I would call his first week of Kindergarten a huge success!!
Adam starts next week, so more new adventures to come!
